The Japan-Canada Chamber of Commerce's mission is to facilitate and promote business relations between
Japanese and Canadian companies, and to encourage the activities of entrepreneurs, large and small,
within the Japanese-Canadian community.  The Japan-Canada Chamber of Commerce believes it is important
that Japanese companies operating in Canada participate in local events through local business groups in order
to learn about government policies and plans for the future.  

  I am fortunate to have the opportunity to build upon the years of hard work put in by the members, directors and
past executive officers who set about seeing that these objectives were realized. I am delighted to be working
with a strong, dedicated group of Board of Directors.  On behalf of the Board of Directors, I encourage all
Japan-Canada Chamber of Commerce members to participate in the many activities available to them through
their membership in the organization.  We also welcome new members to come and join us in what promises
to be an exciting year of Japan-Canada Chamber of Commerce activities.
